Recharge!

Summer is here, and it is in full bloom. Everything is radiant and beautiful. The heat index soars to astronomical figures, and our thirsts simply are difficult to quench.

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every actitivity under the sun:" (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV)

Summer is our brightest time of year, and it is the season of manifestation. Every part of creation has come through a harsh transformation of winter, sprouted new minds and revelation in spring, and demonstrates the beauty of God in summer. Summer is a gift from God to display His glory and majesty. That is why everything is so beautiful and majestic!

But if we are not careful, we run the risk of feeling run down, spiritually exhausted, and disconnected. We spend much of our time outdoors, or relaxin inside sipping tea. However we must stay connected to the source of our energy, Jesus. It sometimes slips our minds or our schedules to pray or to read the Word, but if we are to obtain the manifestation of God's best season for our lives; then, we must rehydrate our spirits and spend time in God's presence.

Don't let the bar-b-ques, swimming pools, vacations, or flower beds keep you from spending time in praise and worship and in fellowship with those who can lift your spirits. Slow down, recharge your spirit. And watch you soar!!!
